Our machines are capable of producing up to 3500 psi. However, when we are washing houses we use around 800 psi. We have the ability to alter the pressure based on what we are doing. When we clean concrete we use higher pressure. For everything else, we use low-pressure (soft wash). It is the water volume that makes our machines more effective. We use 8 gallons per minute with our machines. Whereas a traditional box store pressure washer is typically no more than 2-4 gallons per minute so we're able to cover more ground more efficiently.
We get this question a lot. We sometimes use hot water. We always use hot water on concrete because we feel it does a better job than cold water alone. Our machines can heat the water up to 220 degrees. We typically use hot water when we wash houses but it is on a case-by-case basis depending on the condition of the home.
We answer this question regularly and honestly. We use chemicals that are eco-friendly but we still recommend your animals be put up when we are washing, As far as plants go, we pre-soak everything thoroughly with fresh water and rinse everything when we are finished. In some instances, we will cover certain plants and shrubs but we have never killed a plant and have washed around thousands of them.
When we finish your job we will either leave a hard copy invoice or email a copy to you- whichever you prefer. Upon receipt, you have the option to mail a check to the address listed or pay with a debit or credit card or an e-check. There is no fee for paying with a card online.
You do not need to be there when we are there. We ask that you close your windows from the inside and lock them. We tape off your outlets and pay close attention when we wash around window sills and door jams to prevent any water from getting in the house.
NO! Pressure washing roofs will damage the shingles. We use a no pressure method. Our machine uses less pressure than a garden hose. We coat the roof with our cleaning and foaming agents and let Mother Nature do the rinsing. If someone tells you it is okay to pressure wash their roof- don't listen to them.
The North side of your home gets the least amount of sunlight throughout the day. So that area of the house stays wet after rainfall, dew in the morning, etc. for the longest amount of time. This creates a warm, wet environment for algae to grow which is what that green stuff on your siding is.
